Damned technology versus freedom of enjoyment. Before we all carried mobile fones, MP3 players, cameras, bluetooth earpods, etc. we were all a lot freer to spontaneously jump into rivers, stand under leaky gutters during rainstorms, fall backwards into outdoor pools without a change of clothes or a towel, and other such wonderful fun :) There are waterproof phones out there (CAT for example), and society is in other ways more accepting of wet clothing (I always swim like this at the local public pool for example, often wearing three or more layers of clingy swirly wamwear), but still leave my shoes and phone in the locker. Always fill your day with soaking wet clothes :)
